On November 19, 2005, Champlain College celebrated the Inauguration of Dr. David F. Finney. He was installed as the seventh president in the College's 127-year history at a 1 p.m. ceremony. A former dean at New York University, Dr. Finney took the helm at Champlain on July 1.
