SGA Directors

Director of Facilitation

Carlyn Trout is a junior Secondary Education major. She has been very involved with Student Government ever since middle school. The Director of Facilitation is the primary spokesperson for the SGA and is responsible for creating agendas for meetings and to go-to person for the other SGA directors, advisors, and others.

Director of Finance

David Tabaruka is a senior International Business major. He believes that he has the potential to be a good leader and a hard worker. The Director of Finance is responsible for keeping the budget and keeps an accurate record of the cash disbursement. He will be responsible for recording and retaining all allocations and expenditures.

Director of Student Voice

Whitney Centerbar is a senior Hospitality major. She is an active member in C.H.A.M.P. a club that plans events on campus. The Director of Student Voice is the medium through which the student body can relay their wants and needs to the administration and the SGA and vice versa. She is available for the students to come to with issues and can bring it up to the SGA. She looks forward to hearing from students about ideas for the college.

Director of Public Relations

Justine Riegel is a senior Public relations major. She has a lot of real life experience and is extremely motivated. The Director of Public Relations represents the SGA externally in the community. She will be in contact with the clubs to find out their interests, needs and wants. She works closely with the Directors of Marketing and Student Voice.

Director of Marketing

Lily Shah is a sophomore Psychology major. She is very personable and wants to help others appreciate what Champlain has to offer. The Director of Marketing to create marketing tools for the SGA to reach the students. She communicates with the Marketing department at the college, creates promotional material for the SGA and updates the website. She works with the Director of Public Relations to get the word out on the campus.

Director of Archives

Tommy Ngan is a junior Professional Writing major. He is great with technology and is an avid fiction writer. The Director of Archives takes detailed notes of every meeting. He is the resource for all past meetings for what was discussed, and keeps track of all the tasks.

Director of Program Coordination

Arianna Bolotin is a junior Public Relations major. She works in the Student Life Center, and thus is an active member on campus. She is always up-to-date on activities going on around campus. The Director of Program Coordination is the go to person for club activities. She will collaborate with the clubs about their activities and looks forward to hearing student's ideas about campus events.
