Champlain Campus

Champlain College, founded in 1878, is a private residential college located in the beautiful Hill Section of Burlington, Vermont, overlooking Lake Champlain.

  • Rankings: U.S. News America's Best Colleges 2008 ranks Champlain College in the top tier of the Best Baccalaureate Colleges in the North
  • Academic Focus: Professionally-oriented programs with a core liberal arts curriculum
  • Upside-Down Curriculum: Unique structure allows freshmen to begin their major in their first semester

  • Study Abroad: Many Champlain students will study at our campuses in Montreal and Dublin, while others pursue opportunities in countries around the world
  • Clubs and Activities: Over 50 programs exist, and students are invited to create their own new ones
  • Residential Halls: Most are beautifully restored Victorian-era mansions with full Internet and wireless access. Apartment and suite-style living arrangements also available for residential students
