When the French Were Here
The year 2009 marks the 400th anniversary of Samuel de Champlain's arrival on Lake Champlain and his exploration of its surroundings. Because we look at "his" lake every day from our Burlington campus of Champlain College, we find special reasons to mark this important anniversary.
