Nancy Harrison

Nancy Harrison was born and raised in Montreal. She has a degree in Graphic Design and Illustration from Concordia University and a Master's Degree in Illustration from Syracuse University. Nancy has worked as an art director, creative director and advertising executive with clients that include: Gillette, Kraft, Pfizer, Johnson & Johnson, Disney, Calvin Klein to name just a few. She has received awards and recognitions from How Magazine, Applied Arts Magazine and Marketing Magazine. After relocating to the Philadelphia area in 1996, she began working as a freelance illustrator with Time Magazine, The Washington Post, Reader's Digest, Leapfrog, Penguin, Harcourt, Scholastic, dozens of others, and has published more than 30 children's books and interactive books; her work is now published in more than 20 countries. Nancy works combining traditional and digital media. She recently relocated to Burlington where she continues to work as an illustrator and teach the occasional class.
