Ms. McDonald is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker who received her MSW from McGill University. Her clinical employment has been working in the mental health field specializing in children, adolescents, trauma, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. In addition to her MSW, Tawnya completed a post-graduate certificate in the clinical treatment of children and adolescents from the Smith College of Social Work. Tawnya's current employment is as the Director of Field Education at the State of New York University at Plattsburgh. Ms. McDonald is an active member of the National Association of Social Workers and the Council on Social Work Education. Tawnya has been teaching social work courses here at Champlain for the past eight years.
