Linda joined the Applied Psychology faculty at Champlain in 2006. Among the courses she teaches are Social Psychology, Cognitive Psychology, Research Methods, and a new offering in the Psychology of Altruism and Aggression. She also advises students and has been active in campus-wide activities like the fall '07 Mental Health Symposium.
Linda earned her Ph.D. in Social Psychology from the Union Institute and University. Her doctoral research explored patterns of communication in parent-adolescent relationships. She taught for many years at Trinity College of Vermont, and has also worked in the public schools helping to conduct educational assessments of individual students. In her leisure time she plays recorder in an ensemble that performs Renaissance and folk music.
