After one year as a part-time faculty member, Kathy joined Champlain’s Radiography program as the Clinical Coordinator in 2001. Prior to joining the Radiography faculty, she supervised Radiography students in a hospital setting.
“I started my career as a radiographer in a local community hospital and spent the next 20 years in that setting. Now that I am on the classroom side of the program, it is an even greater pleasure to see how the students develop. New technologies and equipment are a constant part of this career. I like the fact that I am always learning from my students as well as teaching them. Being a part of our students’ successes as they go from the positioning lab to performing exams on patients to working on their own after graduation gives me great pride.”
