The Champlain College Workforce Development Center is pleased to announce the fourth run of their highly successful Management Excellence Seminar Series, starting on Sept. 11. This program is filled with all the topics previous students have praised and some exciting new additions!

The Management Excellence Seminar Series is targeted to new and recently promoted managers and provides a set of skills to meet the challenges of managing, developing and motivating people, decision making, resolving conflicts, creating an inclusive workplace, budgeting, finding, hiring and keeping great employees, and understanding employment law basics.  Even experienced managers have found this series to be extremely useful! 

 Tapping into Champlain’s talent pool, the seminar series is delivered by highly qualified practitioner faculty from our Continuing Professional Studies and Business Divisions including an attorney specializing in employment law.

 Seminars are scheduled for three consecutive Fridays, Sept. 11, 18, 25 and Thursday, Oct. 1 & Friday, Oct. 2. The interactive format and integration of management concepts with real workplace scenarios will have an immediate impact.  The series will take place at the Doubletree Hotel in South Burlington. Continental breakfast and lunch, including guest speakers, is included.
