She will explore her African, European, and Native American roots as they are part of the fascinating history and complex culture of Belize.

The Last of His Tribe (1992)- 10:00am (image courtesy of HBO) Between 1800 and 1900 almost 300,000 Native Americans were slaughtered. It was thought that none had remained wild, until one day in 1911, a doctor and his wife discover one survivor - and with him, the secrets of a vanished world. (90 mins)
The Song of Haiwatha (1999)-11:45am (image courtesy of Crown Media) This screen adaptation of the epic poem by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow tells the tale of Hiawatha, the legendary Ojibwe chief and his love for the beautiful Minnehaha.(114 mins.)
Spirit Rider (1998)-2pm (image courtesy of Allumination FilmWorks LLC) After the untimely death of his mother, Johnny Three Bears must leave the comforts of his home and move to the Ojibwe reservation with his grandfather. The two set out on an adventure to capture and tame a wild stallion, and Johnny learns to appreciate his grandfather’s wisdom and kindness. Just when things were starting to look up, Johnny unearths a dark secret about his grandfather. (90 mins)
POW WOW Highway (2004)- 3:45pm (image courtesy of Anchor Bay Entertainment) Buddy Red Bow is struggling, in the face of persecution, by greedy developers and political in-fighting, to keep his nation on a Montana Crow Reservation financially solvent and independent. Philbert, a simple-minded friend of Buddy's, ardently pursues Native American/First Nation wisdom and lore wherever he can find it--even on Bonanza--in order to earn his warrior name. He's even got his war pony, Protector: a beat-up old wreck of a car. Buddy's sister has been arrested in Santa Fe, and together Buddy and Philbert set off on a road trip to look after her kids and go bail her out. (87min)
