New Student Orientation: Fall 2009
Orientation for the Fall 2009 semester is Aug. 28-Aug. 30
Getting off to a strong start is an important part of your college experience, and our Orientation program is designed to do just that. Interested in meeting new friends, touring the campus, and learning about the services and opportunities that Champlain offers? Then Orientation is for you! An online registration form will be set up midsummer, so be sure to check back and register here.
Families are welcome to participate in Orientation on Friday August 28th from 8:00am – 1:45pm. Families should plan to help move their student in and get them settled. Starting at 1:45pm Student Orientation officially begins and families can be on the road heading home safely. After that students will be busy with Orientation events, meetings, and social gatherings for the remainder of the weekend.

We'd love the opportunity to welcome you to campus and see that you get started on the right foot. More details to follow. Please feel free to contact Lisa Mazzariello at mazzariello@champlain.edu with questions regarding Orientation.
Residential students should check their housing assignments on web advisor after the second week of August. This information will not be mailed or e-mailed to you. Please check this information frequently because sometimes assignments change.
Have your Champlain ID Card waiting for you, and get the photo you want on your Champlain ID Card by e-mailing a photo you like in advance. Your photo needs to be a color individual headshot in JPG format; no hats, no pets, no groups.
