Continuing Professional Studies Orientation & Welcome Back Celebration

Each fall and spring semester, the Division of Continuing Professional Studies (CPS) offers an orientation for adult students to introduce the various services and resources we have to offer. Knowing what to expect is a large part of alleviating anxiety about returning to school. Meet other students who, like yourself, are trying to balance the roles and responsibilities of home, family, and employment while learning more about what it takes to be a successful adult student here at Champlain College.

You made it through your first day – congratulations! Take some time at breakfast to reconnect with your Orientation Group and swap stories about how things went for everyone.

8:30-9:15 Breakfast Buffet – Fireside Lounge

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day! Kick off orientation with a hearty breakfast and informal conversation with CPS staff, faculty, and students before attending the CPS Divisional Meeting.

9:30-10:45 CPS Division Meeting – Boardroom

You’ve got questions, we’ve got answers! Please join the Academic team of the Division of Continuing Professional Studies as we discuss all we have to offer regarding our academic programs and answer your specific questions as they relate to your major, minor, or program.

11:00-12:00 Campus Tour

12:00-1:30 Lunch – SLC Terrace (rain site Fireside Lounge)

Feeling a little apprehensive about your first semester at Champlain College? Want to meet current adult students and hear about their experiences here at Champlain? Join other adult students at this informal, but informational luncheon. This luncheon is reserved for CPS, New American Scholars, and International students.
