January Orientation 2009
Champlain's orientation program is designed to get students acclimated to the college before classes begin. January's orientation is quite a bit smaller than August, however, it is still just as important. The majority of incoming students in January are students transferring in from other colleges. We know that many students have been through orientations before, so we try and focus the weekend on getting to know the campus, as well as some familliar faces before the semester begins.
Students will be in put into small groups with Orientation leaders, and have plenty of time during the weekend to meet other students-new and old, find class locations, and settle into living in Burlington by becoming acclimated to the campus and the town.
