What Kyle Gilbert likes most about his radiography studies at Champlain College is the intensity of the program. "We do over 1700 hours of clinical study, on top of taking a full class load. That's what's so great about this program: you get right into the hospital setting and start learning." He loves that Champlain's size allows for better personal interaction with professors. "You get to know them on a really personal level, you get to know their family. It's great."
An avid fan of science, Kyle took immediately to his clinical labs, such as performing a diagnostic fluoroscopy—basically, a live-action X-ray—on patients. He plans on continuing his studies in science after graduation, and eventually becoming a physician's assistant.
