Environmental Club
The goal of Champlain College's student Environmental Club is to reduce the college's impact on the natural environment, help students live more sustainably, and create positive change for the earth.
Several of our activities are approved for LEAD credit.

Sustainability-Reps
The Sustainability-Rep Work Study positions are an opportunity for students interested and passionate in sustainability issues to further the culture of sustainability within the Champlain College community. Students in this position help raise awareness and encourage environmentally responsible behavior of campus residents, including waste reduction and energy conservation. Typical activities include checking on recycling, talking to and educating other students, conducting surveys, putting up posters, organizing events, etc.

Outreach
The Sustain Champlain Team keeps the campus in the loop with regular e-bulletins containing announcements, upcoming events, and opportunities. The Sustainability Coordinator is also available for presentations and guest lectures for classes and student organizations.
