Champlain Summer Launch Programs
Summer in Vermont provides an idyllic combination of perfect weather and outdoor fun, and Champlain College is planning a few summer events that you definitely won't want to miss!
Join us for a weekend or two this summer, and take the opportunity to meet and mingle with your future classmates while enjoying the best of Vermont's warm-weather goodness. We are planning four outstanding opportunities to bond with the Champlain community, to grow personally, and to have a rewarding experience that you'll always remember.
Now That You've Been Accepted...Be Sure To:
- Start conversations with other new students right away by visiting our Champlain College Social Network.
- Read our FAQs for the basics on what to bring, tuition billing, meal plans, and orientation.
- Visit the Orientation site!
Meanwhile, begin to imagine yourself here—getting to know the local music scene, rewarding yourself for acing a test with Lake Champlain chocolates, rapping or doing standup comedy on Open Mic night in the Fireside Lounge, sledding down Maple after the first big snowfall, polishing your French at our film festival. Not to mention plunging into interesting classes, acquiring some resume-building experience, and learning about exciting study abroad opportunities.

"The dorms are so different. Living in a big house with a bunch of kids makes it definitely feel homey."
-Erin M., New Jersey
"I like the small class sizes because I get personal attention from the professors. I'm not just a name on a piece of paper."
-Jeff M., Massachusetts
"The instructors all really know their stuff and give us practical skills for today's marketplace."
-Todd K., New York
"I just knew Champlain was ‘it' because it's small, it's in Burlington -- I love Burlington -- and it has a graphic design program."
-Becca B., Montana
