Portfolio Requirements
Students who are applying for Game Art & Animation or Graphic Design & Digital Media are required to submit a portfolio for review by our faculty as part of their application. We are asking that students submit an example of their best work in an electronic format. You may submit multiple pieces of art as long as they are contained within one file that is less than 10MB in size.
Your file should be named in the following format: firstname_lastname_birthday
(Your birthday should be in MM/DD/YY format)
An example of an appropriate file name is: john_smith_072493.jpg
Your portfolio may be in one of the following file types as long as it remains less than 10MB in size:
- JPEG
- GIF
- BMP
- DOC (or DOCX)
- PPT (or PPTX)
- Movie files (MP4, MOV, etc)
- a URL to an online portfolio
- a Zipped folder containing multiple images
If your portfolio contains physical artwork (paintings, sculptures, analog photography, etc.), please either scan your artwork or take a digital photograph of it for submission.
PLEASE NOTE: We will not accept portfolios for Game Art & Animation or Graphic Design & Digital Media that are sent through the mail. Only portfolios that follow these instructions will be reviewed. If anything is submitted to us physically, it cannot be returned to you and it will not be reviewed.
