Education in Three Dimensions

You’re not one-dimensional. At Champlain, neither is your education. The Major Dimension lets you study in your major right away and you’ll apply that knowledge on internships. At the same time, the Core Dimension hones your ability to think conceptually and critically—the skills needed when technical skills alone can’t resolve challenges. In the senior capstone course, you’ll integrate both kinds of knowledge. This combination helps you set goals, assess opportunities and make decisions as a citizen and community member. The third dimension, LEAD, covers practical knowledge—everything from adjusting to residence hall life to developing a budget.
