You can change the world through business, and Champlain's Business major will help you learn how to do just that. Whether you are a creative problem solver, love numbers or are looking to make a difference in the world, the Champlain College degree in Business will provide you with the foundation you need to reach your goals. Our hands-on approach allows you to explore the world of business in your first semester, when you not only learn the fundamentals of how business functions, but also get a chance to meet successful entrepreneurs. By your second year at Champlain, you will get to specialize in an area that you are passionate about:
- Business Law: from contracts to business organization, learn to navigate legal challenges.
- Communication: become a savvy business communicator, a skill highly prized by employers.
- Environmental Policy: merge your passion for the environment with a business background.
- Event Management: learn about the business of creating successful event experiences.
- Financial Accounting: learn to prepare and analyze financial statements.
Our program provides a practical, relevant education prized by managers and employers. You will work on field-based projects and internships for a variety of corporations like Ben & Jerry's, Burton Snowboards, Dealer.com, Green Mountain Coffee Roasters, Merrill Lynch and UBS. The combination of your four years of professional education with extensive hands-on experience will place you in high demand upon graduation.
