Mission Statement

Champlain's programs are based on the strong integration of studies in college courses with direct hands-on experiences in schools. We believe that students learn best by doing; students are in schools throughout Chittenden County every semester while at Champlain. These experiences, when combined with college courses in the teaching of math, science, social studies and language arts provide graduates a strong background in teaching. Close professional and personal relationships with college faculty supports the growth of our students from their first day on campus through their graduation four years later.
