  • The Baird Center: a residential and community-based treatment facility for emotionally disabled children and their families

  • Champlain Vocational Center: a vocational, social, and life skills enrichment program for developmentally disabled adults

  • Area public schools: sites include planning rooms, career development centers, services for children with special needs, and drop out prevention programs
  • The Family Room: a community-based drop in center for young, at risk parents and their children that provides parenting education, play groups, parent-child group activities, and health screening services
  • King Street Area Youth Program: an after school activities and socialization center for inner city children and youth
  • Champlain Senior Center: a drop in program that provides recreational, educational, social, referral and health/nutrition services to elders
  • Act One/Bridge Program: a 'store front' detox and primary treatment facility for alcohol and drug addicted adults
  • Local Nursing Care Facilities: students work either in the social service or activities units
  • Area group homes for adolescents: students act as counselors and group facilitators for troubled teens in the state's custody
  • Women's Rape Crisis Center: an educational, first response, and awareness development facility
  • Women Helping Battered Women: a residential and community-based educational, emergency shelter, and life planning program for women and children who have experienced or witnessed domestic battering
  • The Lund Family Center: a residential and community-based facility for pregnant and parenting teens
  • Howard Adult Developmental Health Services: supervised living arrangements for adults experiencing mental illness
  • Woodside Juvenile Rehabilitation Center: a secure residential treatment facility for violent and aggressive adolescents
  • Northwestern Family Institute: an emergency residential facility and community-based counseling service for teens and their families in crisis
  • Committee on Temporary Shelter: a multi-faceted service center for street homeless adults and homeless families
  • Vermont Catholic Charities: a counseling, and family services for individuals and families
  • The Burlington Boys and Girls Club: an after school activities and socialization program for children and youth
  • Y.M.C.A.: an after school activities and socialization program for children and youth
  • The Ronald MacDonald House: a temporary housing service for families with chronically or acutely ill relatives in the hospital
  • Vermont Respite House: a residential and health care facility for terminally ill adults who wish not to die in a hospital setting
  • Milton Family Center: a community-based, multi-service drop in facility for local families and children
  • The Arbors: a residential facility for adults suffering from Alzheimer's disease
