Residence Halls
Few aspects of our campus embody the uncommon experience you'll have at Champlain College better than our residence halls. Champlain's 19 renovated Victorian-era mansions and three new, state-of-the-art residence halls are full of distinctive charm and a great sense of community. These buildings are completely different than anything you'll encounter at other campuses. You could spend days on the core campus before stumbling across a single cinder block, and nearly as long before finding a building consisting entirely of right angles. What you will find: curved, balustered staircases, carefully restored woodwork and bay windows looking out over Lake Champlain and the Adirondack Mountains. No two residence halls, and, in fact, no two residence hall rooms, are alike.
Each residence hall has its own wi-fi network as well as other amenities like lounges with comfortable chairs, community televisions and coin- or CC Cash Card-operated laundry facilities. Our residence halls have a huge impact on campus life. Each residence has a communal atmosphere, so and you'll feel a lot more ownership toward where you live-not just the physical space itself-but the people with whom you share that space. The result is close, long-lasting relationships, something that really differentiates Champlain.
Our residence halls are distinguished not only by their architectural individuality but also by their own distinct personalities. The Wellness Hall and TREC (Teaching, Respecting, and Embracing Cultures), the international hall, give students the chance to live with others who share common interests.
