BURLINGTON, Vt. (April 6, 2017) - Students, faculty and staff alike gathered on Wednesday, April 5, to celebrate the winners of the second annual campus-wide juried student art exhibition. The show opened March 30 and featured 34 student artists selected by a jury made of faculty and industry professionals. These works were in a variety of mediums, which included video, 3D modeling, graphic design, digital painting, photography, illustration, and painting.
Champlain College President Donald J. Laackman and Communications and Creative Media Division Dean Paula Willoquet both spoke about the role the arts plays in a Champlain College education and announced their individual choices for best piece in the show.

The Student Juried Show runs through April 15 in the CCM Art Gallery on the second floor of the Center for Communication and Creative Media at Champlain College. Gallery hours are Monday - Friday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Closed Sundays, College Holidays and during exhibition installations. It is free and open to the public.
