Michael Metz - Retrospective
Chronicling the 40-year photographic career of Burlington-based photographer Michael Metz, this new exhibition features images captured around the world-from geometric architectural abstractions to urban street portraiture. Metz artistic process emphasizes the serendipity of the urban environment as well as the truth and intimacy of human gaze. "I subscribe to the notion that luck favors the prepared mind. I enter the street empty and return with the world in my hand."
The opening reception is Feb. 16 at 5:30 p.m. in the Champlain Art Gallery in the Center for Communication and Creative Media at Champlain College. ,

Closed Sundays, College Holidays and during exhibition installations.
Admission is free and is open to the public.
