Academic Early Warnings:
The College encourages all faculty members to initiate communication with students who appear to be struggling academically or who have excessive class absences. Faculty are strongly encouraged to communicate to students honestly about their academic performance on an individual basis.

Plagiarism Prevention Service: The College subscribes to the Turnitin.com Plagiarisum Prevention service. This service allows you to submit student work to a database to check for plagiarism from the web and from other papers that are available on the web or that have been submitted to their database.
The Turnitin website provides great tutorials and support materials.
Account Access
Turnitin allows you to upload student work and have it matched against an extensive database of other papers and websites to check for student plagiarism. As well, you can set up your class so that students upload the work themselves before they give it to you and thereby identify questionable passages in their papers and learn from their errors.
