Internships-ITS

Create a Highly Marketable Résumé

Technology is growing and expanding every day, and the need for those who have a passion for digital systems and communities grows with it. From startups to firms, businesses to labs, your skills as a major within the Division of Information Technology & Sciences are needed—and you shouldn't have to wait until after graduation to use them.

Because you'll be in your major classes from day one and can gain real-world experiences in our Centers of Experience, you will be qualified for internships sooner than students at most institutions. With up to four years of internship and work experiences, you will gain practical industry skills and create a résumé that will make you stand out from other job candidates in the technology field.

Named among the 10 most innovative tech hubs by Nerdwallet and Forbes, Burlington, Vermont, is the perfect place for tech interns. Our students are highly sought after for internships due to our career-focused education; after graduation, many of our ITS students accept full-time positions with the companies where they've interned.
