Lucy is an Arts graduate of University College Dublin (UCD), a marketing postgraduate of the UCD Smurfit Business School and a postgraduate of public relations from Dublin Institute of Technology. Lucy is a strategic marketing management & communications consultant with impressive experience marketing brands and services. Lucy has 20 years practical experience in the communications industry working with Irish and international brands.
Together with Champlain College Dublin she founded Hireland, a social enterprise designed to kick-start job creation in Ireland by challenging the SME sector to think about what they can do to improve their business by hiring 1 more person. This resulted in 4000 new jobs created in Ireland in 2012 and a series of international request to implement the initiative.
She is an awardee of The Arthur Guinness Foundation social entrepreneur start up, 2012, winner of the Social Entrepreneurs Ireland award 2012 and awardee of the American Ireland Funds, 2013.
Lucy is also a trustee of Champlain College Dublin.
