Emily Ann comes to Champlain College after working in New York City as an actor for both the stage and film. In 2004 she completed her BFA in acting, at Marymount Manhattan College and went on to obtain her MA in Drama Therapy from New York University. She has worked as a Drama Therapist for child victims of domestic violence, homeless mentally ill adults, adults with developmental disabilities and senior citizens with Alzheimer's disease.
Emily Ann is an avid yoga practitioner. She found such joy in her practice that she went on to obtain her teaching certification in 2011.
