Our mobile application programming certificate:

  • Teaches you the application architectures available for a range of wireless devices and the factors which must be taken into consideration when designing software for the wide variety of platforms.
  • Provides hands-on application design and development projects for a variety of devices
  • Identifies the implications of security, legal and privacy issues associated with wireless and mobile computing.
  • Ensures that as a graduate of our program you will be able to design a web-based application that can run on both mobile and desktop.
  • Utilizes FREE development software available from iPhone Developers University Program, Sun Microsystems, Microsoft and others to design, build and test mobile applications.

Gainful Employment Information

The U.S. government's Gainful Employment Program regulations provide students with the information they need to make informed educational choices including total program costs, loan repayment rates, and career outlooks. As part of the recent regulations on information disclosure for Gainful Employment (GE, 2011), eligible institutions must make available a standard group of information for all programs defined by the GE regulation. For Champlain College, a private, not-for-profit post-secondary institution, all certificate programs fall under the GE definition.
