Dr. Darlene Estes-Del Re is an Adjunct Faculty Member at Champlain College and Director/Owner of Honeysuckle Montessori School located in Hendersonville, Tennessee. Dr. Estes-Del Re holds a Ph.D. in Early Childhood Education and M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instructional Effectiveness for PreK-12 grades. She enjoys the online teaching-learning platform and has taught courses in Early Childhood Development, Curriculum Planning, K-3 Practicum, and Creating Constructive Environments.

She has over 22 years of early childhood experience in both private and public settings. She is a certified Montessori teacher and was a Montessori Teacher trainer at Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee for eight years. Her research interests include designing environments for learning, technology for learners of all ages, online learning, parenting styles, and children with Asperger's Syndrome. When not teaching, she enjoys spending time with her children and husband.
