Champlain Abroad: Application Checklist
 
 

Deadlines:

For fall semester, or academic year study abroad: March 15, 2008
For spring semester study abroad: October 15, 2008

Checklist:

The following steps outline the application process for Champlain Abroad in Montreal, Canada or Dublin, Ireland.

  1. Contact the Director of Champlain Abroad Recruiting, Dr. Lynda Reid
  2. Register for one of the Study Abroad/Champlain Abroad Workshops January 28th and 29th (8:30pm - 9:30pm, Hauke Lounge). To register email your name, major, year and cell phone number to reid@champlain.edu. (Application packages, which are available for download online, will also be available at the workshops or after a meeting with Dr. Lynda Reid).
  3. Two completed Faculty Recommendation Forms from Champlain College instuctors (Faculty Recommendation Forms included in Application Package).
  4. Completed applications must include an unofficial copy of your transcript (note that it does not need to be an official copy).
  5. A current copy of your program evaluation that can be printed from WebAdvisor.
  6. Complete the Champlain Abroad Course Request Form, selecting the courses you wish to take. Be sure to indicate an alternate course.
  7. Once all the forms are completed you will submit the to Dr. Lynda Reid at the Champlain Abroad Recruiting Office, on the lower floor of Skiff Hall.
  8. Deadline for applications is March 15th, 2008.
  9. All applications will undergo final processing by the Office of International Programs.
