Champlain Abroad campuses provide participating students a study abroad experience that will enhance their understanding of themselves, their profession and their role as global citizens. Local Champlain faculty create guided experiences that require the students to question and critically reflect on their character, personality and ethical conduct while challenging them to understand the perspectives and opinions of others who think differently than themselves. Application Packages to Champlain Abroad available here (PDF format).

Our Montréal, Canada Campus: Champlain College du Vermont
One of the world’s
most exciting cities, Montréal
is rich in culture and steeped in
history; a 350-year-old urban landscape
offering a fascinating mix of stone
churches and cobblestone streets,
high rises and bike paths, and the
finest shopping and dining in the
province of Quebec. Moreover, as one
of the world’s leading gaming
cities and a dynamic design center,
Montréal’s assets align
extremely well with some of Champlain’s
distinctive educational programs combined with courses that are designed to take advantage of the cultural and historical heritage of Montréal, Quebec and Canada.
“Montréal
is the number two city after Boston
in terms of student per head of population,”
says Alain Tascan, General Manager
of EA in Montréal. “And
we feel like the energy and the freshness
that these students have is what we
want."
Our Dublin, Ireland Campus: Champlain College Dublin Centre
Founded almost two thousand years ago after the Norse invasion of Ireland, Dublin is the country's economic and cultural epicenter, and boasts one of the fastest growing populations in the European Union. The economic growth that has been fueled by a booming communications technology sector has made Dublin a magnet for high-tech professionals from all over the world.
Development of Champlain College Dublin Centre is currently underway. The Centre will open to juniors and seniors in all Champlain College programs in the 2008-09 academic year and to students from other institutions in the 2009-10 academic year.
