Academic Center
- Academic Center,
located at 525, rue Sherbrooke Est.
- The director
is an experienced Champlain faculty
member from the Burlington campus.
- There are three
floors that include classrooms,
a lab and a student lounge.
Housing
- Students will
live in UQAM multi-person suites,
located at 2100 Rue St-Urbain.
- All suites have
individual bedrooms and kitchens.
Courses
For those of you in the Business, International Business and Game Design programs, here are some program courses that will be tailored to take advantage of local professional opportunities:
• MMG 330 Social Responsibility in Media
• INT 230 Import/Export
• GDD 3XX (counts as a GDD elective)
• MGT 290A Global Business Career Experience
In addition, the following general education courses will also offer opportunities for students to interact with the local community:
• ART 220 Cultural Immersion Through the Arts (Fine Arts or Sociology elective)*
• ENG 340 Modern Canadian Literature (Literature elective)*
• HIS 314 Modern Canadian Social History (equivalent to HIS 313)
• SCI 155 Global Environmental Earth Science (Lab science elective)
• PHI 210 Critical Thinking
• LAN 215 Conversational French

Eligibility
- Students must
have completed at least one year
of full-time study at Champlain.
- Students need
to be in good academic standing
and have a minimum GPA of 2.67
Application Process
and Deadlines
- Students must
complete a Champlain Abroad Application, which includes
two faculty recommendation
forms, an unofficial transcript,
and a list of the classes you are
interested in taking while abroad.
- Applications
may be downloaded (above) or requested from the Director of Champlain Abroad Recruitment, at reid@champlain.edu.
- Applications
must be submitted to the Director of Champlain Abroad Recruitment in Skiff Hall.
- Deadlines:
- March
15 for fall semester
- October
15 for spring semester
Finances
- This is Champlain
College. You will pay your regular
Champlain tuition and room directly
to Champlain.
- This program
qualifies for the transfer of State,
Federal and institutional financial
aid. Tuition remission benefits
also apply. You must complete your
FAFSA and speak with student accounts
to see if you are eligible to receive
financial aid.
- Housing and Academic
Enrollment deposits are required
and payable to Champlain College.
Students are
responsible for meals, books and supplies,
travel, local commuting, passport fees,
and other personal expenses.
