Network Administration
Specialization Option for Computer Networking & Cybersecurity Majors
The Systems Administration specialization focuses on network administration from small companies to the corporate level. Students who complete this specialization will gain key competencies for running an enterprise-level network information system and its components, including
- Designing
- Implementing
- Analyzing
- Maintaining
- Protecting
In the Systems Administration specialization, students use hands-on lab opportunities to gain proficiency in:
- systems administration functions
- networks and network services configurations
- security from desktop to enterprise
- LAN and WAN technology and protocols.
