In June 2013, the Social Work program at Champlain College received accreditation for a Bachelor of Social Work status by the national Council on Social Work Education (CSWE).
Formal admission into the Social Work Program occurs during the spring semester of the first year for traditional undergraduate students. For the full list of eligibility criteria for admission to the Social Work program, see our Social Work Admissions Criteria and Process page.
Through Champlain's accreditation by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE), students may apply to be considered for admission to an MSW program to earn a master's degree in one year instead of two. If accepted, students would save a year of tuition costs and get a head start on a career with a higher-level skill set.
