Accounting & Finance Double Major

Champlain College's Robert P. Stiller School of Business spends a lot of time working with employers and internship sites to determine the exact skills, knowledge and characteristics they are seeking in job candidates. In addition to skills like critical thinking, effective communication and teamwork, employers tell us they are looking to hire graduates who have not only developed expertise in a specific area of business (accounting, marketing, etc.), but who also possess the ability to strategize and lead across the whole business enterprise or company.

The Robert P. Stiller School of Business incorporated this employer input to create a a double major business curriculum in Finance & Accounting, two highly complementary fields offering a unique and valuable synergy. Our Finance and Accounting program not only prepares you exceptionally well in your major field of study, but also gives you a five-year, cross-business experience.

Champlain's five-year double major in Finance & Accounting also allows students to meet the necessary 150 credit hour needed in order to sit for the CPA exams without requiring an additional degree outside of the College.

Regardless of major, all Robert P. Stiller School of Business students share a core business curriculum that includes:
