Career-focused specializations for Communication majors

Focused areas of study for Communication Majors

In the Communication major at Champlain,  you'll take a common sequence of essential courses that cover the main categories of communication and media professional work, including graphic design, video storytelling, foundations in human communication, and media and society, beginning in your first semester.

As you become a rising sophomore, you will formally declare which of the four career-specific specialization areas you will pursue. The structure of each of these distinctive specializations will specifically prepare you for your future career in communications.

Required specializations for Communication Majors (choose 1)

Optional Specializations

There are other concentrated areas of study in the Communication major that may be available as an optional specialization depending on which required specialization you choose.
