Environmental Policy Career Success

Why Environmental Policy?

Future decisions about the management of resources and waste will be deliberated with great consideration for both their immediate and long-term effects on the planet, and that means enormous demand for skilled graduates able to develop sound environmental policy.

Why Environmental Policy at Champlain?

Many schools offer degrees in either Environmental Studies or Science, but the Bachelor of Science in the Environmental Policy is one of the only degree programs of its kind in the country.  This program gives students the knowledge to take a systems-based approach to understanding the human and institutional actions that have created environmental, economic and social problems.  By focusing less on the theoretical aspects and more on action-oriented practicalities and leverage points for change, students develop skills that will transform institutions, organizations and human behaviors to foster cultural and natural thriving within the biophysical limits of our planet.
