Optional Specializations

Focused Areas of Study For International Business Majors

Through deep curriculum offerings in highly specialized areas of study, you can tailor your International Business major to gain a high degree of specific, marketable technical expertise.

Specializations are an optional part of your International Business major and may be taken in tandem with other elective International Business courses and/or a minor. Your faculty advisor in the Robert P. Stiller School of Business will help you map out the best academic path to reach your desired career and/or graduate studies goals.

Specializations in the International Business Major

  • Leadership will provide a thorough introduction to effective and ethical leadership in increasingly culturally diverse organizations and industries and give both theoretical and practical knowledge about different models of organizational behavior and leadership.
  • Logistics will teach how to import and export supplies and products to/from different global markets, achieve efficiencies of scale in production and glean insight into what your competition is doing.
  • The Self-designed Business specialization will enable you to specifically tailor your courses to meet your individual career goals.
