Workingwith current businesses, you'll explore the fluid nature of marketing communication, advertising and brand promotionin an ever-changing media landscape. You'll plan and implement campaigns, and learn how to reach consumersand motivate them to act. Additionally, along with all other Stiller School students, in your first year you will explore the world of business, learn where marketing fits in a successful business, and work directly with clients to help them address marketing challenges. As you get deeper into the Marketing program, you'll continue to expand your knowledge through "living" case studies and project-based learning in the classroom.
We designed the curriculum of our majors to support a semester of international study. You can choose to take your international study at our campus in Montreal, Canada, or in Dublin, Ireland, or virtually anywhere in the world through one of our Global Partners or third-party programs. Marketing students wanting to complete an internship while abroad and need financial assistance have the opportunity to apply for the Sarah Ramsey '12 Strong Scholarship during their sophomore, junior or senior years. Over the last three years, Champlain's Stiller School of Business has received a prestigious grant from the Freeman Foundation, allowing the College to send over 40 students to Shanghai, China to complete summer internships.
