When you visit, you’ll get to tour our amazing campus, meet some of our faculty, staff and current students, speak with Admissions and Financial Aid staff—and most important, you’ll get to see how incredible it is to be a student here.

It’s really your chance to see everything Champlain has to offer in person. In the meantime, click on the links below to read a few highlights that will get you excited about coming to campus for Fall Open House 2016:

GAME CAREER EXPLORATION DAY (FRIDAY, OCTOBER 14)

For those interested in one of Champlain's four unique game programs: Game Art & Animation, Game Design, Game Programming, and Game Production Management.

Due to popular demand, we've created our Game Career Exploration Day, a special pre-Open House event exclusively for prospective students who are considering applying to one of our game majors. The day before the 10/15 Fall Open House, we are inviting all interested prospective students to come to campus on Friday afternoon, 10/14 for Game Career Exploration Day. We are still finalizing the schedule, please check back for details.

ACADEMICS

Come learn about the progressive and unique education Champlain has to offer. With majors like Computer & Digital Forensics, Management of Creative Media and Professional Writing, our curriculum is career-focused and emphasizes relevant, hands-on learning and a customized educational approach that creates a direct path to career success, lifelong learning and a rewarding life.

From our Upside-Down Curriculum, the liberal arts courses in the Core curriculum, and the lifelong career management and financial sophistication workshops provided by the Life Experiences & Action Dimension (LEAD) program, you’ll quickly find that Champlain graduates are more prepared to succeed in the world than most of their peers.

In fact, our most recent Career Outcomes Report for the Class of 2015 shows that, within six months of graduation, 93% of traditional undergraduates were employed or continuing their education. Of those employed, 88% were already working in positions relevant to their career goals! (This information is based on data collected from 90% of all traditional undergraduates in the Class of 2015. According to the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE), the standard reporting from most colleges with similar profiles to Champlain is only 64% of the graduating class.)

CHAMPLAIN ACCOLADES

Our mission is to prepare our students for lifelong success. As a result, we’ve been fortunate to be recognized by several prestigious organizations for our efforts:

  • Included in The Princeton Review's "Best 379 Colleges" and "Guide to 353 Green Colleges" for 2015
  • Top Pick: U.S. News & World Report's "2014 Best Regional Colleges in the North"
