Students outside one of Champlain's Victorian-era Residence halls in winter

Champlain College Orientation

January 15, 2017

Champlain's orientation program is designed to get you acclimated to the College before your classes begin. Our January Orientation is smaller than the one we hold each August to welcome in the new class of first-year and transfer students, however our January Orientation is just as important!

Orientation begins with Move-in and Check-in. The rest of the activities focus on helping you get to know the campus, helping you put names fo faces, meeting and mingling with other students and faculty, learning the ins and outs of advising, study abroad, campus safety, campus clubs and organizations, health services and so much more. You'll be placed in a small group with other new students and an Orientation Leader who will be your guide for the day.

Your family is welcome to attend morning and early afternoon activities, and then there will be a special farewell to the folks. There will be additional activities after families leave that run into the evening with a fun social event. You won't want to miss any of it.

Please feel free to contact Jared Cadrette with any questions you have regarding Orientation.
