9:00-12:00 p.m.

Orientation Check In for Residential Students

Skiff Hall, Located at 163 South Willard Street, Burlington, Vermont 05402

All Residential students can check-in at Skiff Hall between the hours of 8 A.M. - 11 A.M. to pick up your Orientation packet. This packet is complete with the Orientation schedule and will guide you on your next steps for the remainder of the day. In Skiff you will also get your room assignments, class schedule for the summer and check out what's happening over the next few days. If you didn't have a chance to send in your ID photo prior to Orientation get your picture taken; we'll make your ID right there. Make sure to drop off any outstanding health forms and register for the emergency text messaging alert system all in Skill Hall.

9:15-12:00 p.m.

Residential Student Move In

Skiff Hall

After you get your room assignments and IDs you're free to take your belongings to your room, meet your Residential Life Staff and get acquainted with your new neighbors. Get settled in and we will see you and for friends and families for lunch later on.

11:00-12:00 p.m.

This packet is complete with the Orientation schedule and will guide you on your next steps for the remainder of the day. 12:00-1:30 p.m.

Welcome Luncheon

Our adventure together begins with a special welcome address. Here you will be introduced to the Summer Bridge faculty and also meet your Transfer Advisor, Amber Rich, the Senior Transfer Admissions Manager. All students, families and friends are invited to enjoy a special luncheon and begin to get to know this incoming Bridge class.

1:30-2:00 p.m.

Break

Please take this time to tie up loose ends, say your good-byes to families and friends. You are now ready to begin the start of your college career at Champlain College.

2:00-3:30 p.m.

Student Orientation Group Meeting

Hauke Conference Room

Here you will meet your fellow classmates, review the schedule for the week, and begin exploring your new community. Remember to wear your nametag!

3:30-4:30 p.m.

Games on the Green

Aiken Lawn (Rain Location Argosy Gymnasium)

This is your first chance to meet all of your Summer Bridge classmates. This will be a high-energy, fun-filled activity. There will be lots of great prizes to win, so bring your lucky rabbit's foot and let's have some fun.

5:00-7:00 p.m.

Residence Hall Community Meeting & Dinner

Location, TBA

Meet the members of your residence hall, including your Resident Assistant, and Assistant Director of Residential Life at your new home's first social gathering.

5:00-7:00 p.m.

Commuter Student Meeting & Dinner

Student Life Center Terrace (Rain Location Fireside Lounge)

Meet other commuting students, grab some food and get ready to have some fun.

8:30-10:30 p.m.

Social Outing

Meet at Bader Parking Lot

Transportation will be available directly after the event to drive you back to campus.
