Contest Guidelines:

The 2012 "Dare To Make It Happen" Video Contest

By now, you've no doubt seen our hugely popular "Champlain - You Make It Happen" Vimeo video

You Make It Happen from Champlain College on Vimeo.

Now it is YOUR turn. Champlain College is inviting you to produce your own 1 minute "You Make It Happen" video and share in the excitement. Make a 1 minute video celebrating your Champlain experience. Get your friends, co-workers, family and community to help you. And then share it with us, and we'll share it with the world. AND, you can win valuable prizes!

Here are the CONTEST Guidelines. Your "Audeamus Sign On @ Champlain" video must be:

1. Shot in the digital film medium and be 1 minute in length (give or take 5 seconds).
2. Focus on Champlain community members - students, staff, faculty, parents and/or alumni - engaged in fun and interesting activities.
3. Feature signage that reads "I _____ (at) Champlain" or "We ________ (at) Champlain",
   or some equivalent, presented in some engaging way.
4. Uploaded to Vimeo in full rez/high quality file size.
5. Remember that really good SOUND, LIGHTING and CAMERA ANGLES/MOTION make a good video GREAT. Be sure we can READ your signs, and please...have fun! "Audeamus" - "Let Us Dare."

4. MOST CREATIVE SIGNAGE VIDEO

6. MOST "GRASSROOTS'Y" VIDEO

Prizes

Grand Prize is a brand new iPad! other prizes include delicious Vermont Yak Company grassfed meat.

Submit your "Sign On @ Champlain" Vimeo video URL link by Monday, April 2 to: rwilliams@champlain.edu to be eligible for the judging and prizes.
