Resume Tips

Is your resume out of date? Make sure you are updating it on a regular basis and following the basic resume writing guidelines. Also, to really make your resume stand out, be sure that you:

1. Tailor it to the job you are applying for by including your qualifications for the position right up at the top of your resume.

2. Begin your phrases with action verbs and quantify (use percentages, frequencies, duration, amounts, etc.) to show the measurable results of your work whenever possible.

3. Include industry-related key words throughout your resume, and lastly,

4. Highlight your accomplishments! The resume is the place to show off what you've achieved!
