Career Collaborative at Champlain College is committed to providing privacy of personal information for our students and stakeholders. Job/internship listings, on-campus positions, events and career fair registration are provided through Handshake, the online career management platform used by Career Collaborative. These services are provided through NACElink, an alliance of:

• National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE), a nationally recognized professional organization for career centers and employers
• Stryder Corporation, doing business as Handshake, provides software solutions. The Company offers solutions to recruit students and to transform the recruiting experience for college students, career centers, and employers.

Jobs and internships posted on Handshake do not mean they have received endorsement from Career Collaborative at Champlain College. Site users are urged to carefully review job and internship postings, and use caution and common sense when applying. Be advised not to disclose social security numbers, credit card information or bank account numbers to unknown employers. If you receive an email asking for you to make deposits into your account, do not do so and contact us immediately.

Student and employer information from Handshake may be used to construct aggregate reports that assist Career Collaborative in program planning for statistical reports or to inform about services and programs that may be of interest. This information may also be used to troubleshoot problems and is accessible only to Career Collaborative staff. Any information shared with parties outside of Career Collaborative is shared only in aggregate form.
