HELP YOUR STUDENTS PREPARE FOR A LIFETIME OF FINANCIAL WELL-BEING

Center for Financial Literacy Summer Institute at Champlain CollegeIf you're like most teachers, you believe financial literacy should be part of the education of our young students. As a participating teacher at the Summer Institute, you will gain the framework, competencies and confidence to integrate financial literacy into your middle school or high school classroom-leaving the week-long program with a concrete plan ready for the start of the school year in the fall.

The Center for Financial Literacy will be accepting applications for the Vermont Teachers Financial Literacy Summer Institute 2012 until May 4, 2012. Accepted teachers will be notified no later than June 1, 2012; others will be placed on a waiting list for the 2013 program.

The Center for Financial Literacy aims to have participation from at least 75 percent of Vermont Supervisory Unions. Currently, the Summer Institute has funding for three years.
