Making Your Money Work for You

Do you want to get more out of your money? Do you know how long it takes for your investments to double in value? Do you want to retire at 65 or would you rather wait until 75? The earlier you start thinking about (and investing in) your retirement, the sooner you can get to laying back, relaxing and living off of your retirement account.

In this workshop, you will learn about the benefits of starting to save for retirement early, as well as what different types of retirement accounts there are for you to participate in. This information will be very important as you enter the work world since many full-time jobs come with different investment options. You will leave this session, understanding the difference between stocks, bonds and mutual funds, and the risks and tradeoffs associated with each type of investment.

Come to Making Your Money Work for You, and learn how to be a savvy investor so you can retire when you want to.
