Digital Forensics Research Assistant

Kyle Porto Kyle Porto is a Junior from Bristol, RI majoring in Digital Forensics at Champlain College. Kyle works as a Student Worker at LCDI where he is involved in Research and Development of new and upcoming technology as well as Data Recovery.

Kyle has worked as a work study student for Mike Wilkinson on a forensics storage server for testing and evaluating of forensic tools and as a CSR for ComSearch. Kyle holds the Public Relations position for the Digital Forensics Association (DFA) at Champlain College. He also has been as actively involved in Champlain Ski and Ride Club. Kyle is a Jr. Black Belt and Eagle Scout of the Boy Scouts of America.

Kyle visited many college campuses before settling in at Champlain. He felt that the college was very organized and the education plan was very well laid out. After visiting Champlain College and the school program was explained in detail, Kyle was impressed by the professors' high qualifications. Kyle felt reassured that the unique upside-down curriculum was well-planned and executed. With this, he was able to rest easy knowing he would get the best of his four years at Champlain.

Kyle would like to combine his knowledge and learning of Computers and Digital Forensics and with helping or serving others. He wants to come out of Champlain with the knowledge he will need to have a steady, well-paying job that he enjoys. Kyle aims to utilize these resources in the future in order to maintain a happy, comfortable, and stable lifestyle.
