Sponsoring Projects
Become a Sponsor
Whether you are
an organization looking to bring
an educational technology concept
to life or an industry professional
wishing to collaborate with a team
of faculty and student developers,
consider sponsoring a project through
the Emergent Media Center at Champlain
College.
These joint initiatives advance
the collaborative process between
academia and the industry. They
encourage the possibility for industry/faculty
exchanges and sabbatical experiences
for both Champlain faculty and for
game industry employees.
As a sponsor, you’ll have
the opportunity to work with students
and faculty from a range of disciplines
and backgrounds. You’ll get
the chance to educate -- and be
educated -- as our students reach
into organizations to discover all
that is possible. The Center will
work with you to address issues
related directly to your organization’s
specific needs and interests and
maintain all levels of confidentiality
through this process.

Entertainment Industry
& Research
Champlain College developed the Emergent Media Center in part to foster incubation
of student ventures, effecting advancement
in the field of game development
and emergent media. Students develop
media and game concepts through
research partnerships with the game
industry.
Industry Friends/Contributing
Board Members
The following organizations have
collaborated with Champlain College
as advisors in the curriculum development
process and by visiting campus to
speak with our students.
Serious Game Projects
All projects carried out through
the Center are embedded in the interdisciplinary
educational process of our students.
As such, they have wide-spread community
value to effect positive change
on real world issues and to approach
these issues in new and innovative
ways. Students create media and
game projects for local and global
nonprofits and for corporate and
educational training.
